Support groups

Meeting others in similar situations

Many people who experience domestic violence express a
profound sense of loneliness in their situation,
and a strong desire to meet others with similar experiences.

Do you feel the same way?

If so, joining a support group might be for you.

Under my guidance, we’ll meet in a safe space on a set number of occasions to explore the mechanisms and effects of violence in depth. Each session has a specific theme where you’ll learn more and work on exercises and assignments. It’s an opportunity to share your own experiences and thoughts and to hear about others’. Almost everyone who participates in a group leaves feeling empowered, with improved self-esteem, new insights, and a new friend or two.

For whom?
There are groups for both those with personal experiences of violence and for family members/loved one.

You can choose to join a group that meets in person in Malmö or a group that meets online.
